Is turmeric good for you?

Turmeric, and particularly its most active ingredient, curcumin, has several scientifically proven health advantages, including the ability to support heart health and overall wellness.

It also supports healthy inflammation response in the body and has antioxidant properties as well. Youtheory® Turmeric boldly features Curcumin C3 Complex®: the most scientifically supported turmeric brand in the marketplace. Scientists have studied Curcumin C3 Complex®for decades to better understand its wide-ranging health benefits and the biological effects of curcuminoids inside the body.

The name “C3 Complex” refers to the three (3) primary curcuminoids found in turmeric – curcumin, demethoxycurcumin and bis-demethoxycurcumin.

Curcumin C3 Complex®is patented for its unique composition profile that conserves the natural ratio (76:19:5) of these three curcuminoids, as found in Mother Nature.

What does turmeric do? The Curcuminoids in turmeric are yellow pigments that give turmeric its vibrant color and are responsible for many health benefits attributed to this “super spice.”* While standard turmeric is approximately 3% curcuminoids, Youtheory Turmeric is more than 95% total curcuminoids. That’s more than a 30x amplification above and beyond what is typically found in nature.

Hence, one serving of Youtheory Turmeric provides the dosage equivalency of nearly 14 grams (14,000 mg) of standard turmeric powder! How do you use turmeric? Turmeric should be consumed with meals to enhance absorption. It's also a good idea to divide it into two doses separated by 8 to 12 hours. This will aid absorption and maintain levels stable throughout the body

I juice it along with carrots, ginger and apple. Also I drink it in “golden milk”. Turmeric, ginger, black pepper, cumin and cinnamon mixed with your preferred boiled milk. (Organic barista Oat milk for me).
